Through Penn State Startup Week and other initiatives, such as entrepreneur-in-residence scholarships and the entrepreneurship and innovation (ENTI) minor, Penn State looks to strengthen its commitment to actively supporting the University’s Invent Penn State initiative.

The Invent Penn State initiative aims to drive economic development, a culture of entrepreneurship, and student career success by building a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem across campus and training students at the cutting edge, placing them in emerging fields and job opportunities. Since 2015, the Invent Penn State initiative has launched 21 innovation spaces that help drive innovation and economic growth in all communities where Penn State campuses reside, supporting nearly 5,000 entrepreneurs with early-stage startup businesses.
